Many of my clients tell me how much they love the simplicity of their summer holiday cottage or villa. On returning home they want to create the same calm and space in their own home.
What makes a holiday home so relaxing to stay in, apart from being on holiday and away from our daily busy routines?
1. A holiday home only has what you need for the number of guests staying there.
2. You only take with you what you’ll need for your stay i.e. clothes, accessories, toiletries, children’s toys.
3. You enjoy that feeling of travelling lighter. It reminds you of less complicated times.
4. As there is less stuff to manage you have less to do to keep the space in order.
5. It reminds you what you truly need and what you can live without.
