Self Care Is Not Selfish

Often when I meet a new client they are feeling overwhelmed by their home organisation and this is starting to have an impact on other areas of their lives. With an endless list of things to do, self care is one of the things that easily drops to the bottom of their priority list.

I support my clients to simplify their home organisation and prioritise what is truly important.

This also includes:

1. Moving self care to the top of the priority list.

Often people feel that they cannot do things for themselves until all the other demands on their time have been completed. However, new things get added to the list and there is never the opportunity to create time for yourself.

For you to feel energised it is so important to look after yourself and schedule in time for self care. This might be a quiet 30 minutes at the start of the day to exercise, going for a cycle, reading a book, meeting up with a friend, booking a beauty treatment etc. Self care is not selfish it’s fundamental to our well being.

2. Schedule in time

You need to schedule in time to do things for yourself that make you happy and give yourself space. I recommend that you book time in your dairy to make this a priority.

Once I have finished working with a client and they feel more in control of their home organisation and time. This makes it easier for them to prioritise time for self care.

If you are feeling weighed down by the demands on your time and feel like you have no time for yourself I’d love to chat with you.
